Congratulations to JLH for Winning the Food Bank Challenge with HYP!
Each team had twenty participants who donated $10, so we raised $400 for the Central PA Food Bank before we even showed up. On the day of the event, JLH took the win, having packed 10.5 pallets; HYP packed 9, which brought us to a combined total of almost 20 pallets, or 800 boxes of food for locals in the community. Talk about a partnership having a huge impact!

2022 Winter Social
Check out this photo from our winter social with our amazing sustainers and active members in December. We had a great time catching up with members we haven’t seen in a while, and it was incredible to hear about all of the accomplishments of the League in 2022. We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings!
JLH members Erika Compliment, Candace Scalese, Yana Kasian, Sophie Kasian and Annie Butkiewicz volunteered in the community garden at Sunflower Fields in Harrisburg. During their volunteer shift, the team helped move compost, weed and water the garden. Their efforts help ensure that the community garden is a beautiful and safe place for neighbors to gather and grow their own food.
