Our Mission: The Junior League of Harrisburg, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Kids in the Kitchen is an event held by Junior Leagues throughout the country in an effort to prevent childhood obesity. The program emphasizes healthy eating and teaches children to make good choices about the foods they eat. Click on the link for more info.

Aaron's Acres 'Volley For Kids'

The Special Events Committee is requesting membership help in soliciting sponsors for the spring fundraiser. Volley For Kids will be held on April 26, 2008 at Penn State Harrisburg and we will be splitting the event proceeds with Aaron's Acres. Check out their website at www.aaronsacres.org
Start planning your team of 7-10 players now. The games are open to all ages and the only rule is to have fun!
