Active
in Harrisburg since it was formed in 1929, the Junior League of Harrisburg works
to build better communities by improving the lives of local families in need.
The JLH is committed to improving the lives of it’s children in need
within the community. With this objective in mind, the JLH works with community
partners to develop and operate “hands-on” programs and special events to
encourage education and self-exploration for children from challenged
backgrounds. Through collaborative programs and effective advocacy, the Junior League
of Harrisburg will provide educational and cultural opportunities, which enrich
the lives of the citizens of our community.
